EA Mythic created an API system which allows for players to build addons. A player with some knowledge of programming can easily create their own addon and customize all of their user interface as well as other parts of the game. Even without any knowledge of the API or programming, a player can still easily take advantage of addons already created and use them like they were their own.To install an addon you’ve downloaded, all you simply need to do is navigate to your Warhammer folder which by default is located at C:program filesElectronic ArtsWarhammer. Once there you may need to create an interface folder followed by an Addons folder inside the interface folder. If these directories are already created then you do not need to worry. The addon files you’ve downloaded are usually in a zip or rar format. If this is the case, you’ll need to download Winzip or Winrar to extract the original files. Once that is done, just copy your addon you’ve downloaded into your addons folder.
