In groups, the Chosens main role is to tank and buff the group with auras. The Chosen does a great amount of damage and wearing heavy armor and using shields, can take a great amount as well. Their auras help reduce damage even more, and can increase dps or do some light healing, making them an excellent class for soloing. Groups is where they shine with their buffs. They help to reduce down time and damage to the group by increasing the groups dps output and increasing their resists.The main weakness for the Chosen is ranged attacks. Without a ranged attack of their own, in order for them to deal out the massive amount of damage they are capable of doing, they must close in on ranged attackers before they are allowed to do to much damage.

In realms versus realm play, the Chosen is a difficult opponent to beat. Their ability to take a ton of damage and deal out damage, combined with the effects of their auras, means serious trouble for anyone caught on the wrong side of the battlefield. Having a healer assigned to them in RvR makes them an almost unstoppable force. The Chaos army is lead by the Chosen Champions, fearless front line warriors . The Chosen have been granted great powers of Dark Gifts from Tzeentch, the Raven God. Their abilities and the abilities of everyone in there party are greatly strengthened by these powers.
